The United States of America has a very dark past. Like many people who have the same, we measure by where one is today and their struggle to improve. There are now people who want to pretend the evil things of the past either, weren't so bad after all or did not exist. While at the same time, they are trying to take the country back to the time when its ugliness was beautiful to some. the author is one of the many people who want good for the country and don't want it to fall back to its old days and ways.
